Altitude Garage Door owners Tim Johnston and Alex Johnson (we’re not brothers) have been servicing, installing, and fabricating garage doors since 1994.    

Alex is a Summit County native who loves Colorado and all it has to offer.  Tim is originally from Wisconsin and moved to Colorado in 1993 to attend college at C.U.  After becoming good friends and working for other garage door companies for many years they decided to start their own company in the summer of 2006.

Altitude Garage door is located in beautiful Silverthorne, Colorado.  Our shop sits in the shadow of majestic Buffalo Mountain.  We specialize in handmade custom garage doors.  Our expert craftsman builds the doors from scratch in our shop.  We can take any idea you have about a door design you like and make it a reality.

Alex and Tim draw on their many years of experience to trouble shoot and solve any garage door questions or problems you may have.  We can fix just about anything and can provide most parts.
